Managing Partner and CEO

Don Barden is CEO and Co-Founder of GaXtracts, LLC, where he leads the company’s Business Development, Strategy, Sales and Marketing teams. A classically trained economist, Mr. Barden specializes in corporate leadership, organizational change management and business development. He is also the Founder and current CEO of the Perfect Plan Company, which is diversified into Talent Consulting, Technology, TV, Agriculture, Finance, and Leadership Training. 

Mr. Barden earned his MBA in global technology management and international business and his BBA in economics and finance. He has also completed doctoral studies in international finance and behavioral economics. 

Robert A. Lee

Managing Partner and Chief Innovation Officer

Robert A. Lee is the Chief Innovation Officer and Managing Partner of GaXtracts. Mr. Lee has passionately embraced entrepreneurship since he was 16 years old, eventually founding and partnering in over 20 start-ups. Always the entrepreneur, Mr. Lee set up an industrial hemp company in Georgia and helped lead the passage of the Georgia Hemp Farming Act; HB 213; a bill which regulates hemp growth and CBD production in the State of Georgia. 

Mr. Lee and his partners then founded GaX. Mr. Lee is also the founder and co-founder of Sylvan Road Capital, HavenBrook Partners, Haven Brook Homes, Chesapeake Development, Axio Design, and Rental STAT. 

Luke Smith

Managing Partner, Agriculture & Manufacturing

Luke Smith is a Managing Partner and a Co-Founder of GaXtracts, where he heads the company’s agricultural and manufacturing divisions. Mr. Smith works diligently with our employees and partners from seed to plant to product, ensuring timely delivery and the highest quality for our vendors and customers. Mr. Smith has experience creating and managing businesses in the agricultural, construction, hospitality and risk management industries.  

No matter where his success has led him, as a product of rural Georgia, Mr. Smith has never been far away from the soil, exploring the relationship between farming and product and brand creation. Mr. Smith graduated from The University of West Georgia with a BA in business. An avid triathlete, he resides in Georgia where he enjoys family life as a husband and father, as well as practicing martial arts in several concentrations. 

Greg Taboada

Greg Taboada

Managing Partner, Business Operations

Greg is humbled to be a co-founding partner of GaXtracts. Technically, he oversees  supply chain logistics, but practically speaking, he’s the company “runner,” moving between products and facilities as the company expands to new areas of bioscience. If a client needs it, he’s there to deliver. A lifelong team player, Mr. Taboada is a Georgia native who attended Stanford University on a football scholarship, majoring in economics and entrepreneurship.

Mr. Taboada hails from a large Spanish family with deep roots in consumer products. Madrileños at heart, they all live close to each other in Georgia. That’s also where you can find Mr. Taboada when he’s not cultivating relationships on behalf of GaXtracts: enjoying family meals and following sports.

Joelle Jump

Chief Financial Officer

Joelle Jump is the CFO of GaXtracts. Ms. Jump has extensive experience with agricultural and manufacturing finance. She is the founder of Benchmark Accounting Group, which specializes in medical, pharmaceutical and private practice accounting. 

Inspired by the medicinal benefits of GaX products, Ms. Jump makes sure all aspects of our operations are in unison towards the goal of bringing quality products and services to the marketplace. A California native, Ms. Jump earned her BA from California State University, Fullerton. She is an avid surfer, snowboarder and horseback rider. 

Amanda Trinchet

Marketing Coordinator

Amanda Trinchet is a marketing coordinator with a decade of experience in healthcare sales and marketing, specializing in operations coordination and business development. Throughout her career, she has spearheaded multiple advancement plans that included strategies for operations integration, employee training and development, client success management, marketing coordination and much more.

Ms. Tinchet earned a BA in healthcare services administration from the University of North Florida.  A Miami native, she enjoys warm weather and spending time at the beach. She also enjoys traveling and diving into a good book.

Nick Womack

Nick Womack

Managing Director of Business Development – Institutional

Nick Womack is the managing director of business development for GaX. He has spent the last decade developing products and programs for the health industry aimed at improving the quality of treatment administered to those in chronic pain, specifically targeting the excessive utilization of pharmaceuticals.

Mr. Womack constantly works to educate and inform the market, allowing consumers and producers alike access to a consistent product they know is pure, tested and proven. He earned a BA in journalism from the University of Georgia and has been recognized by Business Insurance Magazine for his work to reduce opioid exposure in the workers’ compensation industry.

Holly Anderson

Holly Anderson

Business Development

Holly Anderson is a business development manager for GaX. She brings a diverse sales and business development background including positions in disaster restoration, sports marketing and retail management. Ms. Anderson also has over 25 years of experience in the dance industry. She served as the executive director of a non-profit ballet company, has taught all disciplines of dance at various studios, and has coached several competitive teams, including the NBA G-League basketball team, the Erie Bayhawks. Holly earned a BS in business administration with a focus on economics from Edinboro University. She currently serves as a member of the Atlanta Hawks dance team.
