Ronnie Lee is the chairman and CEO of Walton EMC, a Georgia-based energy cooperative that serves nearly 125,000 customers. Ronnie has run and operated Walton EMC for 38 years, building it into a $500-plus million company, with annual revenues of $250 million. Under Mr. Lee’s leadership, Walton EMC has become the lead innovator in clean energy within Georgia. Walton’s initiative on clean energy caught the eye of Facebook, Inc., who contracted with Walton EMC in March 2019 to provide Facebook’s Georgia data facility with 100% clean, solar power. 

Mr. Lee’s unique understanding of successful team building, vast strategic relationships within Georgia and in-depth understanding of state-specific corporate laws and regulations will ensure GaXtracts maintains a leadership advantage in the industry. 

John Morgan, MD

John Morgan, MD

Board of Directors, Pharmaceutical Oversight Committee

John Morgan, MD, is the medical director at St. Mary’s Center for Rehabilitative Medicine. He brings 20 years of clinical, academic and administrative experience in the healthcare industry. As a practitioner, educator and administrator, Dr. Morgan has extensive knowledge and experience in managing the balance of offering superior medical options for patients while also maximizing profits for shareholders. 

In addition to his duties at St. Mary’s, Dr. Morgan is an adjunct clinical professor at the University of Georgia Medical School and the founder and Chief Medical Officer of CarePlus, an anesthesia staffing solutions company. Additionally, he is the founding partner and president of three medical organizations – Advanced Hospitalist Solutions, Walton Hospitalist Solutions and Barrow Inpatient Services. 

Dr. Morgan earned his BS in microbiology from the University of Georgia, followed by his MD at Emory University School of Medicine. He lives in Athens with his wife and three daughters. 

Carmen Schooley

Carmen Schooley

Board of Directors, Manufacturing Oversight Committee

Carmen Schooley is the systems engineering and integration manager at Gulfstream Aerospace in Savannah, Georgia. Ms. Schooley is responsible for overseeing the human factors, systems safety, configuration management and design integration departments. She is also the safety management system manager for all of Gulfstream’s engineering departments. Beginning her career with NASA, Ms. Schooley has 25-plus years of engineering experience in the aerospace, automotive and business aviation industries. 

As a board member, she works directly with Luke Smith and the processing team to ensure a fully integrated manufacturing process that enables exponential growth. Ms. Schooley graduated from The Georgia Institute of Technology with an MA in mechanical engineering and an undergraduate degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Aerospace Engineering. 

Kim Leadford

During her 10-plus year career in the entertainment industry, Ms. Leadford has earned over 25 producer credits for films such as Lee Daniels’ The Butler and Life of Crime. Previously, she was the cofounder and CEO of Starstream Media. 

Ms. Leadford is deeply involved in the industrial hemp and cannabis industries, holding board positions with some of the world’s top-performing growers, distributors and manufacturers. Her vast experience and global connections bring high energy and creative thought processes for a long-term future of collaborations and impact. 

Todd Klawin

Mr. Klawin is an entrepreneur and executive with nearly 20 years of experience launching and growing digital and traditional media companies and content platforms. He has spent his career launching and growing successful tech, marketing and media companies. Mr. Klawin founded the digital marketing firm Moon Tide in 2006. Prior to that, he was a founder at RadicalMail, one of the first email marketing companies (now an IBM company). There, he directed global partnerships and delivered strategic consulting to the company’s largest customers.  

Mr. Klawin and his Moon Tide business partner Charlie Koones believe that the hemp industry is ripe for new ventures. He helps them emerge and gain market share by applying proven strategies from other industries. Mr. Klawin lives in Manhattan Beach with the loves of his life, his wife and two daughters.

Mr. Lier’s mission is to help sales people and leaders change their mindset and realize what’s possible for themselves by implementing doable actions to increase performance. His work has been covered by The Today Show, Inside Edition and he has been a guest on The Howard Stern Show and the O’Reilly Factor. He is an adjunct professor at Fort Hays State University’s school of Business and Entrepreneurship.
